Creative Inspirations!

Today's card is a new baby boy card for a neighbour who is due any day now! The card is also my entry for the "creative inspirations" challenge blog. The challenge this week is babies, a good one for me as I have lots of friends due around now. Recipe:
  • Papernation toddler stamp
  • Henbury backing papers
  • CB embossed die cut card stock
  • Glittered buttons
  • DCWV ribbon

Hope you are well. I am chuffed as I have manged to install the scanner on my laptop. The home PC needs a new hard drive, so I thought I wouldn't be posting for a while. Glad I have sorted it out as I've only just got back in to the swing of my blogging!

Sketch Saturday

Today's wonky post is my entry for the challenge over on "Sketch Saturday". I haven't done one of their challenges for ages and I could not resist this effective sketch. I used one the fab girly toppers from the QVC kit I ordered last week. I have enjoyed using toppers and decoupage recently, as I find I don't always have to allow so long to make a card. I enjoyed doing this one during a spare hour I had whilst my son was at pre-school ;) Hope you are all well. xxx

Sweet Sketch for Father's Day!

Today's post is my challenge entry for the "Sweet Sketch Wednesday" challenge blog. I loved using this sketch,it seems like ages since I've had the energy/time to participate in a challenge. This is the first of three cards I need to make for Fathers day. I plan to use the same card stock and papers for all three cards. I thought the colours work well and I should end up with less scraps! I hope you are all well & enjoying the half term sunshine! xxxx

A card at last!

Back at last with a card made for my friends 30Th Birthday at the weekend! I have not had much time of late for crafting, been busy getting nursery ready for the new arrival in August. We are pretty much done now and with an ever growing list of cards to do I thought I'd best get on with some crafting. I made this card with those gorgeous papers from the Henbury range and my new Martha Stewart flower punch. I am really pleased with these punches they cut through card like butter! Hope you are all well, and can't wait to catch up on your blogs! xxx

Creative Inspirations.......

Today's post is for the challenge over on Creative Inspirations, this week you were only allowed to use text on your card, no stamped images. I really enjoyed this for a change and have made a really girly card.
I have used free paper from a magazine to make an interesting feature, lace, pearls & flowers for a vintage feel.
Hope you are all well
