Crafty Weekend!

Hello,
Just updating blogs with a few cards I made yesterday. The Birthday card is for Zack's best friend who is two on Wednesday!, they seem to be growing up so quick!!!!!!!! I don't use this stamp very much so I just hope the water colouring is OK!
I have also made 6 more Christmas cards, I am especially pleased with little Gem & the robin!!!!
I brought the tiny bow craft Punch from the £1 shop on Friday, so that's why I've got little bows everywhere!!!
I am off to a local craft fayre after lunch & then Mum will be coming round later to help me make my first "Nappy cake". I will let you now how I get on, and post some piccies if its any good!!!!
Hope you are having a great weekend, I will look forward to catching up with your blogs when I have some time tomorrow.

Cute card Thurday Challenge-Snow Family

Managed to complete three of these Snow Family cards this afternoon. I really enjoy using this stamp from Spiral Whisper & of course my CB Snowflake folder is perfect with this image. I am really enjoying making my cards in batches, at last I am making progress!!!!!

This is the first batch of my own Christmas cards. It seems to be a lot quicker making them in batches. I made 5 of these in about 90 minutes, so a lot quicker than normal. I am also really pleased with the result. Its funny how sometimes you can be happy with something you spend 20 minutes on and yet you can spend hours on some cards & they never feel quite perfect!!!!!
This is the first of the personalised diary's I am making for friends gifts this year, I hope they like them. I enjoyed making something other than a card!!!!

Time for a make over!

Hello, I have opted for a new look blog, wanted to brighten it up a bit. After all we all deserve to update our image once in a while lol!!!! I finally finished the charity card box at the weekend so that went off to school today, fingers crossed we raise a bit more money for the St Georges Foundation. I am to start my personal Christmas cards this week, and will do them in batches of 5 as suggested by my blogging buddies!!!! I also hope to get a couple more personalised Diaries done for my friends Christmas gifts. Have a fab week xxx

Sick of Christmas Cards!!!!!

I am so sick of Christmas cards I decided my last card of the day had to be a "New Years " card instead. I think the charity box will nearly be full & ready to go next week, Ive had a productive week!!!! Dreading starting my own Christmas cards, I think I am gonna make them in several batches using my favourite stamps!!! I am going to do square cards I think this year. Hubby keeps saying just make cards for family & close friends, send cheap shop brought ones to everyone else, and I have to say at the moment I am that sick of Christmas cards at the moment its quite tempting!!!!!!!

New stamp club cards!!!

My postie was popular this morning when he delivered the new Magnolia stamp club. Luckily I had just enough EZ mount foam to mount my favourites, so I started work on a couple of cards straight away!!!! These will be going in the Charity box as well!
Have a lovely afternoon x

A couple more charity box cards

A couple more charity box cards I did last night, I thought I would do a non cutsey card for a change. I am quite pleased with the embossed tree's, this card looks quite luxurious in the flesh (so to speak!) I am aiming to have charity cards all ready to sell by next Monday, then I can make some more of my own Christmas cards again!!!!

First use of Copic pens!!!

Here are the first lot of cards I have done for my St Georges foundation charity card box at the school. This was the first time I have used my new Copics to colour the images. Thanks to good advice from fellow bloggers I watched some demo's on Utube to squat up on the technique's!!!!
I am pretty pleased with the result, I love the vibrancy of the colours. I am just looking forward to some hints & tips from my fellow bloggers!!!!!

Quiet on the card front......

Hello all, I am finally updating my blog! I have not been doing many cards of late as I have been having too much fun scrapbooking!!!!! It's a shame I can't be bothered to photograph my pages & put on my blog, but unfortunatley nothing that doesn't fit in the scanner goes on here lol!!! I made this card for a 6oth B'day & now have a 50th B'day card to go and get on with!!! xxxxxx
