PBSC "Piggy Chic"

This is my entry for the Penny Black challenge this week. The sketch was good fun and I decided to use it as an opportunity to use up all my scraps!!!!

Image was coloured with Promarkers & mounted on to various off cuts of paper. Then embellished with Fimo buttons and eyelets for a shabby chic feel!!!!

I am making this a short post as I am off to dinner for Hubby's B'day!

Sketch Saturday quick!!!!!!!!

This is my entry for this weeks "SS" challenge,I liked this weeks sketch. I coloured Bunny with Promarkers. I finally got to use my Coredinations card which I CB embossed & sanded,then used "Spring burst" papers. Embellished with Prima flower,die-cut swirl and matching Papermania brads!!!!

I hope its got a nice spring feel! I can't wait to catch up with your blogs tonight!

PBSC Card

This is my entry for this weeks PB challenge which has a love theme. I made this little Valentine card for my son to give his best friend Beth.

Kitty coloured with Promarkers and mounted using Nesties. Prima flower,sticky ribbon and button to embellish. I couldn't resist adding a bit of sparkle to the flower with my glitter glue !!

I still have not had a chance to use my new "spring burst" papers & embellishments, or the Coredinations card stock. I am looking forward to Friday night when hopefully I can make a start on some Easter/Mothers day Cards etc..

Sketch Saturday

Hello all, I hope you had a good weekend. I had a lovely day out with the girls on Saturday which obviously involved shopping & lunch!!! Then Sunday we had a nice winters walk at Virginia Waters. The card above is my entry for this weeks Sketch challenge. I am not sure about the card thou, its unusual for me not to have a stamped centerpiece. My mum brought me these nice 3D heart stickers from Anita's so I made the card for her to give to Dad. I love the simple but really effective layout of this weeks sketch.

I made this card using one of the lovely images from another Blogger. Stamped tag was a freebie from a magazine, Embellished with Prima flower & brads.

I hope to have a catch up with every ones blogs and awards I have kindly received etc... I just have a mega busy week ahead, so I will apologise in advance if I don't have time to collect awards & update blog etc....

PBSC Circle Card

This weeks challenge was to make a circle card,so the Nesties got some use this week. Image coloured with Promarkers & whispers,mounted on to DCWV rock star papers (didn't scan well as foiled). I then used ribbon & iridescent glitter glue around the edges. The scan doesn't do it much justice but it is quite a cute little sparkly gift tag in reality.

Hope you are all having a nice week,the snow is finally starting to melt here. I enjoyed it for a while but now its good to get back to normality.

Snow fun!!!!

These pics were taken yesterday in the garden. Zack is loving the snow and has been out sledging today with Grandma & Grandad.

I am going to attempt a walk into town later as we are starting to get cabin fever here!!!!

I want the snow to disappear now as I am waiting for some crafty goods to arrive and we have had no post for the last two days!!!

Sketch Saturday Card

This is my entry for this weeks sketch Saturday challenge. To be honest its not been my favourite sketch,but I still enjoyed the challenge. Consequently I am not that happy with the end result!!! However I know it's good to try new layouts etc... I am hooked on thier fab challenges and have a folder full of sketches for inspiration now!

I used image from Stacey coloured with Promarkers.Then layered on to DCWV papers and embellished with Prima flowers and brads.

Just for fun!

Here are a couple of cards I made this week. The above card used a lovely image sent to me from Stacey. I don't usually do floral cards but I am pleased with the result.I used Papermania paper & ribbon and Prima flowers & jewels to embellish. I coloured the image with Promarkers,I think I am slowly improving with them lol!!!!!

This is the first time I have used this teddy stamp by Sugar Nellie, he was nice to colour in. I kept this one simple with stamped corners and a prima flower and peel off greeting. I hope you all have a nice weekend. We are not doing much which is lovely for a change,hope to get out for a nice walk and do a couple of challenge cards.

PBSC Card

This is the card I made for this weeks PBSC, the theme this week was "frame it". Image coloured with Promarkers & framed with Nesties. I used K&CO paper for the backing and Prima flowers with pearl brads to embellish. I enjoy the PB challenges very much as they are different every week! I hope you are all having a good week so far? The time seems to fly by at the moment. Right its about time I got some shut eye before my night shift! Happy Crafting xxx

Sketch Saturday Card!!!!!

Here is my first card for ages which is also my entry for the fab "Sketch Saturday Challenge". I have made this for my friends baby's Christening next month.

FF image stamped & coloured with Promarkers. Embellished with peeloff,ribbon and die cut flowers.

I hope to make a few more cards this week, but right now I'm off to check up on all the gossip in blog land before I hit the gym!!!!!
