Mum's B'day card

Struggled for inspiration for Mum's card, really love using my Magnolia stamp club at the mo, as you have probably worked out lol!!!!!! Card embossed in the corners & image mounted on to k & Co paper. Card embellished with paper daisy (Tilda is holding) & crystal gems.

Little Sis is 21!!!!!

I just had to use this PB image for Laura's card as it reminded me of her and her Tibetan terrier lol!!!! I just had to grow the dog's hair a bit lol!!! I used back gloss card & birthday cuttlebug embossing folder, then sanded the raised area for distressed effect. This doesn't scan well but really pleased with the effect in real life!!! Mounted on Rock star paper & matted & layered. Then I personalised with some funky fonts & a key charm as it is her 21st!!!!!!!!

Commissioned Card

A commission for a beach loving seven year old little girl!!! Magnolia stamps from stamp club have been very handy for this one!!! Colour wash background done with whispers pens. Hope she likes it!

Vintage TIlda

Thought I would have a go at a vintage effect Tilda, quite pleased with the effect!!! I am loving my new PB flourish stamp, I think it will definatley earn its keep in the craft shed!!!!!!

Magnolia card Challenge

Really enjoyed using this sketch to make my Magnolia challenge card. I will definatley use this sketch again especially when my stamp club parcel arrives!!!!! I love the rockstar papers as well!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

This weeks challenge was to use no ready made backing papers. My card is my entry for this challenge. I used Sugar Nellie "Maggie dressing up stamp" & matted with nestabilities. I then used cuttlebug embossed backing, bow & flower added.

Second card was going to be my entry but I couldn't resist using the Francois Reade paper as I thought it went well with the Sugar Nellie "picking apples" stamp. Funky ribbon & buttons to embellish as I very into these at the moment!

First Sugar Nellie card. I also used oil pastels for the first time to colour the image. I can see with a bit more practice the pastels will be an effective medium to use.

Charity Cards

These are just a few of my favourite cards I have made for the charity box at St Marks school. The money raised goes to street children in Africa, they sponsor a little boy called Emanuel. I am enjoying blogging now, I think it will be a great way to keep a record of past designs.
