Simply Stamping

Today's short post is my first entry for the "Clean and simple stamping" challenge. I stumbled on this challenge blog when blog hopping and am very glad I did. I love the simple but effective sketches and the fact that it doesn't need to take hours to complete a challenge. I used lime green card stock and a funky cupcake stamped image for maximum effect!!!! Hope you are all enjoying the school holidays and still managing to find craft time. xxxx

Sweet Sketch in the Sun!

Today's first post is my Dads card and entry for the "Sweet Sketch Wednesday" challenge blog.
I really enjoy there sketches, so as I don't have much crafting time this tends to be the challenge I enter first!
I wanted quite a clean and simple card as its for my Dad's birthday. I thought the natural colours and simple "stampin up" image work well for men's cards.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the sun. My house is all go as usual, we had Amber's Christening last week and thankfully the weather was glorious!! We are looking forward to catching up with friends this weekend.
Hope you all have a good one!

Sweet Sketch

Today's post is my entry for the "sweet sketch Wednesday challenge", I love this clean and simple sketch!
This card is a Mothers Day card for my Mother in law,I hope she likes it. I used some paper and toppers from the "Making Cards" magazine. I really like the Art Deco look ;) I don't but many craft magazines anymore as they don't seem to teach you much when you have been doing it a while. I still love "Making Cards" and "Craft stamper" thou.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Zack's party was a success yesterday and today its wet out so we are catching up with some chores!

Shabby chic!

Today's post is a card I have made for the "spoon full of sugar" challenge blog, where this weeks theme is "vintage/shabby chic". I thought these Kraft card blanks would be perfect for a shabby chic feel. I love them at the moment!!! This card is for a good friend of mine who is famed for being late, so hopefully it will make her smile. My new Neatnix tool box organiser arrived today. I loaded it up with supplies from the shed and have been crafting in the house for a change. Mum brought it for my Birthday next week and its fab, brown and pink polka dots!!!! I had better get on, I have Zack's birthday party in the morning so I have a huge pass the parcel to wrap!!! Hope you all have a great weekend xxxx

Creative Inspirations!

Today's card is a new baby boy card for a neighbour who is due any day now! The card is also my entry for the "creative inspirations" challenge blog. The challenge this week is babies, a good one for me as I have lots of friends due around now. Recipe:
  • Papernation toddler stamp
  • Henbury backing papers
  • CB embossed die cut card stock
  • Glittered buttons
  • DCWV ribbon

Hope you are well. I am chuffed as I have manged to install the scanner on my laptop. The home PC needs a new hard drive, so I thought I wouldn't be posting for a while. Glad I have sorted it out as I've only just got back in to the swing of my blogging!

Sketch Saturday

Today's wonky post is my entry for the challenge over on "Sketch Saturday". I haven't done one of their challenges for ages and I could not resist this effective sketch. I used one the fab girly toppers from the QVC kit I ordered last week. I have enjoyed using toppers and decoupage recently, as I find I don't always have to allow so long to make a card. I enjoyed doing this one during a spare hour I had whilst my son was at pre-school ;) Hope you are all well. xxx

Sweet Sketch for Father's Day!

Today's post is my challenge entry for the "Sweet Sketch Wednesday" challenge blog. I loved using this sketch,it seems like ages since I've had the energy/time to participate in a challenge. This is the first of three cards I need to make for Fathers day. I plan to use the same card stock and papers for all three cards. I thought the colours work well and I should end up with less scraps! I hope you are all well & enjoying the half term sunshine! xxxx
